A Tale of 3Goals and 2Assists
After so much fiddling, I came up with this title as I tried my possible best to make sense of ManUtd’s blisteringly arresting first opening 20-30mins, in the game against Fulham, at the Craven Cottage. 3goals, from open play, for a team that has struggled to even create chances, created by Rooney, robin Van Persie and Januzaj, scored by Valencia, Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney. To me, it was really surreal to see our main strikers creating and scoring the goals and my eyes were glued on Robin Van Persie and Rooney, ManUtd’s ‘R2’ and what next they would do. If you’re an ardent follower or supporter of ManUtd, especially in the new eon and under the leadership and gaffer-ship of David Moyes, then, you’d likely understand why my focus is on ManUtd’s R2 after watching them against Fulham.
